Love it when customers do this!

The lights are off, nothing's set up yet, and there's a rope set up, block the entrance. WE'RE NOT OPEN YET, YOU PUTZ!

New Comic Strip! :)

Almost missed this one! ;)

Sunday Comic Strip!

Trying to get myself to do more comic stuff. Found these bristol sheets that are 5 x 17 so I figured I could do a new comic strip every Sunday.

Here are some of the panels with out the dialogue.

Here are the sketches that I used to tie down the drawings.

In case you didn't get the joke (and shame on me if that's the case), I currently work at a Starbucks. One day we were out of our bold roast coffee so all we had was our mild (Pike's Place) and our decaf (also Pike's). It was just funny that the customers would come up and study the choices for coffee so carefully when there was only one.

Happy New Year!

A Happy Nicktorious New Year, folks!

My resolution? to update this thing at least 3 - 5 times a month!

Professor Nicktorious!

Just wanted to post something that wasn't a loose sketch or a study of someone else's work. This is based on a costume of mine from a party. Below are the outlines that I made in Illustrator.

And now the (cleaned-up) sketches.

I may post some of the thumbnails later but for now I'm tired. Colored in Photoshop, btw. :)

Edit: Updated the image based on Temris' critique. Also made it a higher resolution. Hope this looks better! :)

A little sketch of myself...

I made this while sitting in on an animation class. This was inspired by all the beer runs I was doing with my buddies while graduating from AI. Since I got my new scanner today, I thought I'd play around with this a bit.

I thought a loose painting job would fit with the loose sketches. I'm going to try to make more of these little cartoons. They are a lot of fun.
